the story with vampires

so... sorry to all the (listed or non listed) readers for not publishing anything for a month... there was just nothing to say... or at least nothing worth putting it on here... however, i just encountered a blast from the past and was once more astouned about the variety of  people on this planet...

have to go back a bit so you understand what i'm on about...
about two years ago (i think) i was unhappy with my situation, just kinda sad... i have friends who love just as i love them, i had everything to be happy but still i wasn't... don't ask me to define it more precise, can't... however, there was one night... another sleepless one (unemployment has one good side.. no real reason to get up at the crack of dawn if you really don't want)... i was surfing around on facebook and browsing through games... until i found one called "reign of vampires"... clicked on it, chose my "clan" which was basically only chosing your stronger skills among them all... at some point during that getting-to-know-process i found a page with a blank part.. the top saying "write your own lore"... wtf?? now what's a lore again?? ok,  let's have a look at what the others wrote (little school flashback.. sorry, out of place) after a while there was this "ooh, that's what i'm supposed to do" moment... so i'm supposed to come up with a story how "my clan" began... ok, writing a couple of lines, maybe a paragraph... it's just midnight and i'm kinda sleepy, dk why.. didn't do nothing all day... but i wanna get this done now... should be a cool game, let's see...

what was meant to be 1 paragraph long max, ended up in that in me still writing 4h later, have a look if you want - http://freakybrain.blogspot.com/2011/05/vampire-story-from-ireland.html

at first it was on another page with a name debating the lines between fiction and reality on that topic... i read some stories, scouted around the page... until i saw that "publish your story" button... which was what i did and it got accepted and published... first proud moment... not done story but yet it was approved by somebody... quickly got a few comments and some other stuff... people asking me if that's real and all that... for the records, it's not...
i don't know what happened to the site but my story was moved... and here are the comments again... the first one and the last one are interesting to compare... 1. posted on june 14 "hey!! is this all made up??? please its really very important for me to knoe..please please fine me too..." - brilliant english but obviously a nutter... sorry mate, can't help ya... 4. posted august 4 "fake, it sounds like a mixture of trueblood and twilight" .. first, nobody said nothing about it being a autobiography and second, back then i hadn't heard of true blood yet... other things fueled my inspiration...

individual mindsets aside... there is the robert frost situation... fire and ice... or in this case fire or ice? i must confess, to be true to the poem, i hold with those who favor fire... but don't get frustrated my icy friends... i'm not for blind belief and completely ignoring evidence pointing in the other direction... i say a healthy balance is important... i was thought by my mother to use heart and brains to find my way and i've kept to it since...

so... is there really a secret world hiding in plain sight? i'm sure it doesn't look like depicted in "volterra" but i'm sure there is something... as "walter bishop" once said: "just because nobody documented talking lions and flying monkeys yet, doesn't mean they don't exist"...
some say the caught a glimpse of their world, some say you won't find them and if you do, you won't have the chance to talk of it... taking all the dangers and certain death in consideration, it would be intriguing to get some facts.. one hears many things about different species of vampires, how they feed, how they survive, how the became what they are... but what of it is true and what of it is product of insanity, blind following and romantic teeny fantasy??

i just wish there was more....

good night
